Earth Crisis, the vegan straight edge metalcore band, released Gomorrah's Season Ends, their sophomore LP, on Victory Records in 1996. The Syracuse group had formed seven years earlier and had helped change the scene, bringing in a metallic, heavy sound with politically charged lyrics. The record was nine songs of brutal hardcore, one that followed the path they started with Firestorm. And as you'd expect, they hit the road. While the record didn't come out until October, their summer tour in 96 was still getting the word out about the new songs. This original Earth Crisis tour flyer, with light surface creasing, advertises their 1996 summer tour for "the best straight edge band in history."
