DYS were a straight edge band from Boston, MA, one of the founding bands of the Boston Crew alongside SSD, Negative FX, and more. They were founded in 1983, making them one of the earliest straight edge band in the world. They released their debut album Brotherhood in 1983 on XClaim! which included the song "Wolfpack," a song about friendship. Some scholarship has cited this album as the predecessor to the straight edge hardcore iconography phenomenon the hooded mosher. They released a second, self-titled album and went more in a rock n roll direction, but their earliest output is some of the best and most important hardcore ever written. This vintage DYS long sleeve from the 1980s, in great condition with pinholes and tearing along the letters, lets everyone know you're a member of the Wolfpack.
