Vintage Idle Speculation "Discover America" T-Shirt

In 1982, author William Least Heat-Moon published his book Blue Highways, an autobiographical account of his drive across America in. Least Heat-Moon decided to take the "blue highways" as he called them, referring to the secondary and small country roads that the Rand McNally atlas colored blue. The book was a huge success, becoming a New York Times bestseller. Least Heat-Moon's story is great and inspiring, but he certainly didn't invent the desire to follow the road less traveled. This vintage Idle Speculation tee, nicely worn in great condition, advocates for discovering America through it's lesser known towns and sites, like Chocolate Bayou, TX and Hop Bottom, PA.
