The Dick Tracy film was long a dream project of director and star Warren Beatty, who finally realized his ambitions with the 1990 film of the same name, also starring Al Paccino and Madonna in significant roles. The color pallet of the film was designed to mimic the primary colors seen in the offset printing of comic strips of the early 20th century which led to details like the banana yellow trench coat Beatty wore in the role of Tracy for the film (as represented on this shirt). This vintage Dick Tracy tee, in great condition with a small mark on the bottom of the tee, features Dick letting everyone know he calls the shots.
