Before Deicide changed their name to Deicide in 1989, they were called Amon. The Florida death metal band had formed out of the ashes of a previous band called Carnage and settled upon their new name in 1987 while adding some new members, like Glen Benton, bassist and vocalist. Amon recorded two demos before they changed their name and assumed their final form. Deicide, of course, went on to be a world-renowned metal band who are still active, with Benton still up front to this day. In 1993, the year after their sophomore album Legionwas released, Roadrunner, Deicide's label at the time, re-released those early demos from when they were called Amon on a compilation LP entitled Amon: Feasting The Beast. The band went on a tour in support of the album as well. This original Deicide shirt, in excellent condition, is from their Feasting The Beast tour in 1993 in support of their demos album released the same year.
