Vintage David Bowie "The Glass Spider" T-Shirt

In 1987, David Bowie, rock god, went on a tour he dubbed the Glass Spider Tour. The tour was meant to support his 17th album, Never Let Me Down, which was released the same year. Bowie had been active for two decades at that point so he had a lot of material that spanned a lot of different styles and eras and he wanted fans to be able to experience it all, so he planned his longest and most elaborate tour set yet. The show featured dancers, videos, and Peter Frampton. At the time the tour was poorly received by critics, although fans came out in droves of course. That criticism has since been reconsidered as much of what Bowie did would prove foundational for large concert touring afterwards. This original David Bowie shirt, deadstock in excellent condition, is from his massive 1987 Glass Spider Tour.
