Abnegation was a band from Pittsburgh, PA founded in 1991 that started as a vegan staright edge hardcore band and over time transitioned into a death metal. Their 1996 demo tape As Stone Strikes The Cedar was in somewhat of the liminal phase as they were fully moving over to their more metal sound before they recorded their only LP, 1997's Verses Of The Bleeding. They have recently reformed. This original Abnegation As Stone Strikes The Cedar demo from 1996 is in VG+ condition.
