Elegy was a vegan straight edge hardcore band from South Florida founded in 2016. The band played a heavy style of hardcore, incorporating influences from metalcore and death metal to play a sound that was both classic and contemporary, evoking some of the more militant bands of the 90s. They were short-lived, breaking up in 2018, but members have gone on to play in still more important contemporary hardcore bands. This original friends only Elegy shirt is lightly worn in and faded.
