Vintage Sex Pistols "God Save The Queen" T-Shirt

The Sex Pistols were a punk band from England founded in 1975. After taking a few years to settle on a fully realized lineup, the band, under the direction of their manager Malcom McLaren, came out in the later half of the 70s and rose to prominence quickly, in part due to controversies surrounding them. They swore on live television and then mocked the Queen on her Silver Jubilee, and then and only then did they release their debut album Never Mind The Bollocks, Here's The Sex Pistols. They toured the US a year later and broke up on stage at their last show. Since then, the Sex Pistols' have grown into one of the most important, and notorious, groups in the history of modern music. Singer Johnny Rotten went on to form Public Image Limited, guitarist Steve Jones and drummer Paul Cook formed The Professionals, and bassist Sid Viscous tragically passed away shortly after the initial breakup. This vintage Sex Pistols shirt is nicely worn and faded.
